Frederick Training Center’s Saturday Morning Sessions (8:30–9:30am) are back this fall — bringing together an all-star lineup of coaches who will challenge, motivate, and inspire athletes of all levels.
Each session is unique, combining elements of strength, conditioning, mobility, and speed to help athletes build a stronger, more resilient foundation. Sessions are open to FTC members and guests (remember to register!) looking to start their weekend with energy and purpose.
This fall’s series features a rotating cast of FTC’s elite coaching staff — including Head Coach Josh Hosey, FTC Directors Bo and Jackie Eskay, and special guest Dr. Stefano Muscatelli, better known in the gym as “The Phytsician.”
Meet “The Phytsician”
By day, Dr. Stefano Muscatelli is an Orthopedic Surgeon specializing in hip and knee replacement surgery, helping patients regain movement and quality of life. A former college baseball player, he brings the same precision, passion, and athletic mindset from the operating room to the gym floor. “Athletic training has always been a love of mine. These Saturday sessions give me a chance to step away from the operating room and get back to my roots — moving, training, and inspiring others,” says Dr. Muscatelli. Follow him on Instagram @thephytsician for more insights and inspiration.
All sessions are from 8:30–9:30am @ Frederick Training Center: 10082 Tyler Ct., Ijamsville, MD 21754
