We hope you’re all staying warm! With a significant winter weather system moving into our region this weekend, we wanted to share the latest forecast trends and how it may affect FTC operations.
Weather Outlook (Urbana/MD & Central Maryland)
Meteorologists are forecasting cold temperatures with an increasing chance of snow and wintry precipitation late Saturday into Sunday, with significant accumulations possible through Sunday. Snowfall rates may pick up Sunday, and temperatures are expected to remain very cold through the weekend and into Monday. Given this forecast and the likelihood of snow and icy travel conditions, here’s how FTC plans to operate:
FTC Schedule This Weekend
Saturday: OPEN. All classes are currently planned to run as scheduled.
Sunday: CLOSED. Due to snow accumulation and hazardous travel conditions. All Sunday classes will be rescheduled for Sunday, February 15th
Monday: LIKELY CLOSED IN THE MORNING. Check the information channels below about afternoon and evening classes.
