This Labor Day weekend, Frederick Training Center is throwing open its doors for a high-energy Labor Day Challenge + Open House that’s equal parts competition, community, and fun. Whether you’re a current member, a former member, or someone who’s been curious about FTC, this is your chance to see what we’re all about.

- 9:00–10:00 AM — Labor Day Challenge: Team Workout + Competition
- 10:00–11:00 AM — FTC Q&A + Open House

THE CHALLENGE
Get ready to move through all four FTC training zones in our signature FABSS style (Fitness, Agility, Balance, Strength, & Speed):
- Zone 1: Strength & Conditioning 1
- Zone 2: Strength & Conditioning 2
- Zone 3: Warmup, Stretching, and Mobility
- Zone 4: Cardio/Fitness
This is a Competition Style Team Event, with four people per team, and up to two FTC members per team. You’ll rotate through exercises - keeping one teammate on a cardio machine at all times - and push through challenges like: body weight exercises, medicine ball activities, sleds, etc.
Competition Specs:
- 40 Minutes of effort
- 22 Teams max (88 participants total)
- Entry Fee: $25 per person — includes an event t-shirt
THE OPEN HOUSE
After the challenge, stick around from 10:00–11:00 AM for a Q&A with FTC coaches, facility tours, and the chance to try our equipment and training zones for yourself. Meet the team, see how our programming works, and learn why FTC is the area’s premier training facility for athletes and adults alike.
BONUS: A food truck from Wonderbowls will be on-site serving up fresh, energizing menu items to refuel after your workout.
